A Walk-Through: Girl In the Middle of Israel
6am and i pack my bag with a notebook for memories, fruit for food ● well oh, oh baby i ain’t got no plan ● i keep my phone off and earbuds in ● i move on to a whole new town with a whole new way ● i walked to another city and back
we’ll float on maybe would you understand ● i reached the Mediterrean sea and took my sneakers off ● gonna find another place, maybe one i can stand ● waded right in the sea and immersed myself in surrounding beauty ● got to the door and again, i couldn’t stop
i wasn’t hiding anything from myself ● if the world’s at large, why should i remain ● i was not afraid of myself and my imperfections ● but you still got your words and you got your friends ● now when too much time passes and the feeling is gone, i know i need a moment like this again ● walk along to another day ● i can find the feeling again because it’s within myself

Thank you:
For always listening
Your wisdom is beyond your years.
I’ll always be here
To listen too.
