Everybody seemed to be constantly in motion in NYC – seeing everything, doing everything, trying everything – all at once. There is an undeniable energy that pulses throughout the streets of Manhattan, and the hustle and bustle can be both exciting and exhausting. I liked the city immediately, but I’ll admit that it took me awhile to fall in love with it. Despite the busyness, the packed and sometimes stressful streets, the insanely high cost of living, there’s something about NYC that takes ahold of you and refuses to let go. I think it has to do with the sense of possibility in NYC; there’s always something new to explore and consider, and I loved the culture and life that the place exuded. Someday, I hope to visit again – one could live in the city for a lifetime and not see everything.
